Add your brand

After creating your account, the first thing Visbee asks you to do is add your brand. This is the entity Visbee will monitor across AI platforms.

Enter the name exactly as you want AI assistants to mention it. Visbee uses this string to detect when an AI answer includes your brand.

For example, if your brand is commonly known as “Stripe,” enter Stripe rather than stripe.com or Stripe, Inc.. If your brand has a stylized capitalization, match it here so detection is as accurate as possible.

Enter your main website domain (for example, stripe.com). Visbee uses the domain to identify official mentions and to filter which cited sources belong to you versus a competitor.

Choose the industry that best describes your business. Visbee uses this to generate the set of prompts it will send to each AI platform. A prompt asking “What are the best tools for X?” is only relevant if X matches your actual market.

If your industry isn’t listed, pick the closest match and use the description field to add specificity.

Write 1 to 3 sentences explaining what your brand does. This context helps Visbee construct prompts that accurately represent your space, and it gives AI platforms enough background to recognize your brand even if they have limited training data about it.

Keep it factual and specific. Avoid marketing language; think of it as a Wikipedia-style summary.

If your business is region-specific or you want to focus monitoring on a particular market, you can specify a country or region. This influences how prompts are framed when geographic context is relevant.

Once you submit the form, Visbee generates an initial prompt set based on your industry and description. These prompts are the questions it will send to each AI platform during a collection. You don’t need to review or edit them manually to get started.

You’re then taken to the competitor setup step.

  • Enter the brand name exactly as you want to be mentioned in AI answers. Inconsistent casing or abbreviations can reduce detection accuracy.
  • If you operate under multiple names (for example, a parent company and a product brand), add them as separate brands if you want to track them independently.
  • You can edit all fields later from the brand settings page.
